After working in Asia, David lived in Sydney, Australia for ten years where he ran his own commercial studio. At this time he began work on annual reports and worked mainly in the electronics industry for Nortel, Alcatel and GEC and general industrial photography. Commercial work was a great education in the technical side of photography in terms of lighting locations and greater technical quality. On returning to London in 2000, he began work with BAA which culminated in a three year project to document the construction of Heathrow’s Terminal 5 building. He then covered construction of One Hyde Park in London, the world’s most expensive apartments.
