My name is Bogna Kuczerawy. In 2007 I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Poland with a Master’s Degree in Interior Design. I am a certified jeweler, painter and designer, with a great love for photography and graphic design. Photography is a medium which I discovered slowly. It allows me to express myself in ways I can’t otherwise. For me it means that I can unite a wonderful profession that I love, with a good school of life – where I learn how to be open with not just other people, but also with my own feelings. When taking photographs I try to preserve the beauty of the world that surrounds me in my own unique style. Frames that remain are my personal treasures, because I usually lock a lot of my own emotions in every single one of them.

Thanks to photography I found peace, freedom and a fascinating universe that I didn’t know existed until I looked through the camera’s eye. Since that moment I never stopped learning new things – my artistic journey is very exciting and rewarding and hopefully it will never end. Photography allows me to preserve life’s moments that I do not want to vanish in oblivion. It also makes me very happy and excited because it awakens the explorer in me. I can’t wait to see where it takes me. Even though photography is a challenging medium, and I am mostly self taught, I never got rewarded as much as I do by devoting myself to this art form. I try to show my vision through my imagination, heart and emotions, which I hope people recognize when they view my work. So take a look and enjoy my world.

My work has been featured in magazines and photo albums in Poland, United Kingdom and USA, and on a CD and DVD cover which I designed for an internationally known classical music composer and performer. My photos have graced the front covers of several published books. I exhibited my paintings at three solo exhibitions in Poland and at several group exhibitions, and my photographs have been sold to private collections worldwide.
