Tony Dudley didn’t begin by wanting to be a photographer, he fell into it after his career in rallying was cut short: “I got into photography when I was around 22 after being a motorsport competitor in Rallying. I crashed a car heavily on a road rally when I was 21. I couldn’t afford to replace the car so someone said why not try photography? And I did. I then started to take motorsport images which eventually lead me to winning ten cameras in magazines since 1985, the last was back in 2009.”

Since then, Tony has branched out into more areas of photography, including portraiture: “I do model shoots from time-to-time but still take sports images, plus landscapes too. Why? Well sticking to one type of photography would bore me so I do like to take shots of many subjects.”
