The Taxi-Dermy Lenticular Prints collection from Canadian artist Joe Jin incorporates insects and vehicles into his print work to create a unique perspective on life in busy cities.
Each piece of the designer’s collection changes from an image of an insect to an automobile depending on what angle you’re viewing it from. Created to capture an aerial point of view, the prints display what it would be like looking down between all the high-rise buildings: essentially all cars would start to resemble insects.
From wasps morphing into BMW motorbikes to beetles turning into Mini Cooper’s, these lenticular prints are mesmerizing and beautifully engaging.
Joe Jin’s thought-provoking Taxi-Dermy Lenticular Prints Collection really pushes people to look beyond what they see and really envision the message behind the photographs.
