Albano Garcia born in Buenos Aires, 1979.
Photographer and Graphic Designer (UBA).
Works as a freelance and lives in Buenos Aires.
Currently he’s photography curator in Marq (Museo de Arquitectura y Diseno) and also he’s published the book Flaneur, dedicated to portrait the streets of Buenos Aires. He’s working on editorial projects in photography and graphic design for clients from the architecture, design and visual arts fields.
He was the graphic designer of official Argentine send to Venice Architecture Biennale in 2012, 2010 and 2008 and to Sao Paulo 2011 Architecture Biennale. He also designs Revista de Arquitectura magazine for SCA and Arquis magazine for Facultad de Arquitectura, Universidad de Palermo.
His clients of photography and design includes Sociedad Central de Arquitectos, Marq, Malba, Ente de Turismo del Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Universidad de Palermo, Bisman Ediciones, Barzon and Plot magazines, Santo and Parson ad agencies, Landia production house, TGLT developers and Montaldo, Pop-Arq, Barq, 2H and Arquitectonika studios.
He’s exhibited his photos in CC Recoleta, ArteBA, CC Borges, CC Konex, Buenos Aires Photo, Bienal Arte x Arte, Nonabia (9? Bienal Internacional de Arquitectura de San Pablo), Sociedad Central de Arquitectos (SCA), Museo de Arquitectura y Diseno (Marq) and Fundacion Proa.
He’s won prizes and mentions. His photos has been published in books, magazines and newspapers.
