Lives and works in Granada (Spain) and Milan (Italy)
Fernando Bayona articulates the production of his work using objects and experiences from everyday life which are rooted in the simplest of the daily routines. Most of his work reflect on human identity and relationships. He tackles LOVE as a key concept of human behaviour and its consequences, and explores the most intimate aspects of our relationships with ourselves and others, Love providing the link and the engine of both types of relationships. Bayona uses Love as a means to respond to those questions raised by the world: social convention, desire, repression, passion, jealousy, betrayal, rage, solitude, instability, emotions, people, the necessity to flee from anything that is unwanted and life itself as a lie and a stage in which all of it takes place.
