She is an a photographer who lives and works in Mexico City.

Her photographs of mennonite women in northern Mexico “The Flower Women” has received the National Prize of Culture Fernando Benítez 2010 and has received the scholarship granted by young FONCA 2009/2010 as well. She has participated in the exhibition “Lightness and Weight”  in Photo España Festival in Madrid that now continues in roaming. Her book was published by Editorial La Fábrica in Spain, as part of book publishing workshop organized by the Festival Photo España and the Center for the Arts of San Agustin Etla, Oaxaca in Mexico during 2010.

In 2011 she was selected by the World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass in Holland, the result of this collective masterclass was to be published in the book “Next # 01″. That same year she completed the artistic residence program of the International Studio and Curatorial Program in New York.

Her photographic documentary work has been published in various national and international publications such as New Yorker,  British Journal Photography, LightBox Time, Fisheye, GUP, Vice, Yo Dona, Gatopardo, National Geographic Travel and Mariclare.

She has exhibited collectively in Germany, Spain, Prague, Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles and New York.
