Neil Girling is a photographer and blogger covering the San Francisco Bay Area underground with a penchant for the bizarre. He’s an official photographer for Burning Man and the Edwardian Ball, and has a number of international publications including Vanity Fair. With a degree in Computer Engineering and years of industry experience with Apple, Google and others, Neil is qualified to design, manufacture, assemble and write firmware for circuit boards, power supplies and embedded systems. Few are aware of this, however, thinking him instead a general rabble-rouser and creator of pretty pictures (and he likes it that way). Other skills include wordsmithing, welding and precision operation of high-powered firearms.
