Born and brought up in Essex, graduating from Manchester with a business degree that got me as far as becoming a media researcher and web developer. I chucked in the rat-race to deliver boats instead and met Liz in Antigua after delivering a boat across the Atlantic. We very quickly decided to sell up and buy our own boat. We moved to Turkey where we lived for a few years, preparing the boat for a big sail. We left Turkey in 2009 and sailed the Red Sea and into the pirate-infested waters of the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea. We sailed down the Indian coast where we ended up in Cochin. We are based here and too busy enjoying India to think about moving on. The problem of piracy plays a very big part in dictating where and when we go next. South Africa, Maldives, Chagos or Malaysia are all possible next-stops.
