Youssef Nassar a photographer of passion, is the only Lebanese Photographer who works for National Geographic Channel.
I started as an amateur photographer long time ago, and I am still an amateur. I still have the dark room from 1959 which I am leaving as souvenirs. I started the colors in 1960, by doing 3 exposures and combining them to come up with the picture. I was supported by Mr. Manuk Manoukian, and learned a lot from him. I used to photograph all the national theatres and Baalback events. I am still, since then working in this domain, but it is still not my main profession.
In Lebanon, I did a lot of photography activities with clubs, and I was monitor in the 1970s for a club at the Movement Culture club in Antelias.
