Born 1975.

 

He started working in 2000 as a freelance photographer covering the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

In 2004 he started working as a stringer for The Associated Press, covering major events like Yasser Arafat’s funeral in 2004, Israel’s

disengagement from the Gaza Strip in 2005, and the 2006 Israeli-Lebanese war.

He was a Pulitzer finalist in stills photography for his work covering the military conflict in Lebanon in 2006.

He has also won the APME Associated Press Managing Editors award as a part of the AP’s team covering the 2006 war.
