Krijn van Noordwijk’s Summary

In previous lives, Krijn has worked as a creative director and art director in several international advertising agencies (DDB, TBWA, LOWE, OGILVY), winning numerous creative awards while having a great time. He was a board member in the ADCN as well as the ADCE. He founded his own creative shop ‘LABORATORIVM’ in 1996. In this Lab art, music, graphics and advertising were all mixed. In 2006, Krijn broke away to focus on photography. His work combines graphic but classical aesthetics with a contemporary view on people and expressions. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Rembrandt van Rijn, Bettina Rheims, DJ Krush, Piet Mondriaan, Johannes Vermeer, David Carson, Annie Leibovitz, Johnny Burnette, Gottfried Helnwein, Charles Saatchi, David Lachapelle, Joel Peter Witkin, Talib Kwali, Francis Bacon, Man Ray, Barack Obama, Donald Duck and many many others. Krijn’s work is featured in several magazines in the Netherlands and in many ad campaigns. Also check
