Last week, on my way into a screening of Sex and the City 2, I had the pleasure of discovering Monica Orozco’s new series It Lasted 16 Outfits, on view at the Arclight Cinema in Hollywood. Monica lives in Los Angeles and has been widely published in numerous magazines including Anthem, Spin, TimeOut London, Interview, Swindle, Whitehot, Westside, JPG, ARTINFO and ForYourArt.

It’s always refreshing to see a humorous take on the world, and especially on the world of relationships and love. Monica has a fresh approach to remembering a short-lived relationship, not through texts, e-mails, and phone calls, but by recreating the experience, this time, without the date. Let’s just hope she meets her Mr. Big on the next go ’round.
